StingのFields of Gold　[Music] [編集]

今日も今日とて、晴天だ。
昨日もすごい晴れ間だった。洗濯に燃える。

天気の良い日に聞きたい曲のうちの一つ。
Stingの「Fields of Gold」

ばーっと真夏の太陽直下の黄金色の麦畑、という写実的な場面。

強烈な視覚的インパクトを持つ中での、ストーリー。
主人公、ちょっとうちの伴侶に似てるかな。
こう、情熱的というより、クールで客観的に見てるところとか。

この彼女、「彼女にして～」じゃなくて
「プロポーズ」してるんだと思うんだけど

だって、主人公の男性、軽々しく約束する人間じゃない、って言ってるし。
歌の最後の方では、何年もの時が過ぎて
金色の麦畑の中、子供達が走り回る・・・って言ってる。

ああ、なんて素敵なんだろう。
金色の麦畑の中で　恋人と過ごした夏
今は、その思い出の麦畑で、子供達が駆け回るのを見ている。

シンクロする、シンクロするよ～
我が家にもあるシチュエーション。

恋人として過ごした場所に、今では子どもを連れて、家族で来るのだ。
二人だったはずが、目の前に、子どもがいる。この不思議な感覚。

遊び走る子供を見ながら、感じいる、不思議な時の流れ。
出会って、この人だと決めて、家族が増えて。

自分が決めたはずの家族の形だけど、こうあるべきだった運命に
導かれてきただけかな・・・自然の成り行きというか、自然界の一つのように。
そんな気にさせる歌。
